Invented by Sir Clive Sinclair the A-bike is a result of a five year research and development program by Sinclair Research. “…the idea is that if you had a bicycle which is seriously lighter and more compact than anything existing at the moment, it will change the way in which people see bikes.” more info here: www.a-bike.co.uk

Actually, it’s precisely what a folding bike SHOULD be.
For a large folding bike to make sense, you have to have a car or a train along the trip. You can take a real bike on those!
This bike you can actually carry with you in busses, trams, and when hitching an unplanned car ride with a friend. When you leave the house with a large folding bike, you’re leaving with a bike. When you leave the house with an A-Bike, you’re leaving with just your usual stuff + the ability to ride instead of walk.
They’re pretty quirky and no real rival for the Brompton but I can see some uses.
it looks dumb, i like big wheels,
montague folding bikes look pretty cool
To cumbersome to fold, in folded mode you have to lift it, wheels are to small for comfort, gear ratio is insanely inadequate. Apart from a nifty transform this thing is useless. It is precisely what a folding bike should not be.
Yes, if you hit a cigarette but it would throw you off!
i like it, the only thing i don’t like, and for me its very important, is that the wheels are simply to small…
No. I will not be purchasing one of those.
NO It is not funny!! No you don’t lol!!
I do thought how much?
I’m not quite sure.. I’m just 110 lbs.. standard Asian. And I am small therefore I shouldn’t be too heavy for it.
That is so funny!! I want one, lol!!
That is so funny! I want one, lol!!
seems a bad bike for tall people
Cityplus ur typical day: Roast coffee, ride folding bike from kitchen to cold water bidet. No need to leave the house, you might get hit by a car. Creepy vids, keep up the good work
Ride it like it is a 0:22 lol!
Thanks for the warning. Were you able to return it? Is there a way to check for “genuine” status? Thanks.
That a joke.
You said it folds in 10 seconds on the ebay ad. It took you 30 seconds to fold it in the video. FRAUDDDDD
Mine just arrived today, and I am returning it.
First I thought it’s compact, good to ride on campus. But mine I don’t think it’s sinclair’s.
It’s ridiculously difficult to ride, the pedals are VERY heavy and it’s very hard to fold. I’m very upset about the product. I’ll post video soon.
To those satisfied with their sinclair’s, congrats for getting real one.
now thats small. but those wheels dont looks so safe.
I think it’s good to ride when on campus.. it’s not too big and on campus we don’t really need it to be fast..
Ohhh that is soooo ugly …. (the bike that is) , i cant imagine that being easy OR comfortable to ride … (the bike that is) lol
that seems painful to ride, and you couldnt even keep your balance properly
I think you fold/unfold correctly. Dont put your hands near moving parts. You should lift the bike up and gently push it down and use two hands to spread it apart. This way I didnt get hurt. Btw, how you get your seat to level? My damn seat is at an angle. Leave me message tell me how to adjust it. Thanks
Theres a wheel holding the door… Maybe he found a bump in hes way
