Cool Cycles and Bike Gear

Brompton folding bike

The Brompton folding bike  is a design classic. The clever design developed over 20 years,  results in probably the smallest practical folding bike ever. The riding os great too. The rear suspension aabsorbs road vibration and the upright seating position is comfortable. The Brompton stays cleverly locked together when folded – so it won’t suddenly spring apart half way down the steps to the tube.

Brompton’s don’t have a range of standard models. All Brompton’s are built by hand and are based on three types with different handlebar styles designed for different styles of riding and use.

All models come properly kitted out, ready for the road, with mudguards and lighting fitted as standard. If you want the ultra light version each of the key models can be built to a superlight specification with front forks, rear frame, seat pillar and other smaller features made out of titanium.
