   We use : IRC Siren 20 x 1.75
   Light weight and good grips for offroads.
   The sleek one are for slow ride on dirty roads

   Hey! Nice work! I just got my Speed D7. I Have one question: What tires are you using? Do you think I’ll be able to ride the bike at dirt roads with the sleek one that comes with the bike? Thanks!

   Yes, Pantour Suspension Hub is a good idea for road use. A suspension fork is better for off road tracks (but heavier)

   See note above about Pantour brand suspension hub .
   Or consider buying a 20 ” suspension fork to allow smooth travel on non – paved surfaces .

    It’s possible to buy a suspension hub , made by Pantour for any wheel size in case you hadn’t been aware of them .

    plus… I’m jealous! beautiful destinations… especially that last windy ride in Spain. and the folding for the finale… sweet

    even with good MTB tires, the 20″ dahon bikes are not good in stony paths.

    I should do the same thing. But I wonder if my Sped D7 can go on those crazy mountian terrain or not.

    Wow, thanks for sharing! For touring, even a Bike Friday “Llama” or a “New World Tourist” have nothing on the Dahons. And they cost twice, to three times as much as the Dahons!
